We have SpaceX Starship Static Fire action at Starbase once again along with some quite intriguing insights into the future of the Starship program. The Starlink network continues to make news as the launch cadence keeps accelerating. 2 Starlink launches just this week and a Legal Battle Win as well. The hopefully final countdown is on for Artemis 1, so a NASA Artemis 1 Launch Rundown today. With the initial scrub just days ago, we are biting our nails awaiting the action to commence potentially just hours from now. I’m diving into what we expect to see in the launch and first few days of this mission. All that and a lot more so there is a heap to cover today.

We’ve been spoiled for flyovers of both Starbase's again this week. Lots of extra intel to sift over as we approach the first orbital flight of Starship and we think SpaceX might be gearing up for some more tandem testing. Starlink launches continue but more importantly big news around the network amongst some intriguing information about it being hacked!? Yep diving into that too. And here we are with Artemis 1 being rolled to the pad for the final time. This is the moment we’ve been waiting 3 decades for. Also, more brilliance from the James Webb Space Telescope, and we are just getting started.

So it is no secret that this year it has taken a little longer than we had hoped to get to the stage where we are seeing booster static fires. But wait no longer because this week was packed with static fire action and a lot more. SpaceX is Moving Starship Booster to the Next Leve! They are also sending Astounding Falcon 9 Mass to Orbit, but most importantly is the amazing volume in total. We have a few interesting updates on the Space Launch Systems upcoming Artemis 1 flight destined to launch within weeks now. Big news with Northrop Grumman, Firefly and Astra, and this amazing Mars Rover has broken incredible milestones on its long journey. Strap in! This is a big one.

A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket will launch with another 51 Starlink internet satellites at 10:09 p.m. EDT (0209 GMT) tonight. This mission will also carry Spaceflight’s propulsive Sherpa-LTC2 space tug, which will climb into a higher orbit with Boeing’s Varuna Technology Demonstration Mission, a pathfinder for a planned constellation of broadband satellites. The Falcon 9’s first stage booster will land on a drone ship in the Atlantic Ocean.
We'll be joined before the launch by Dr Jonathan McDowell, an astrophysicist at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics and editor of Jonathan’s Space Report, an internet newsletter which provides technical details of satellite launches.

SpaceX’s next-generation Starship rocket has secured its first satellite launch contract. On August 18th, Japanese satellite operator Sky Perfect JSAT announced that it selected SpaceX’s Starship rocket to launch its Superbird-9 satellite to a geostationary transfer orbit (GTO) as early as 2024.
It isn’t the first time that SpaceX or another company has floated the possibility of using Starship to launch paying customers’ satellites, but Sky Perfect JSAT appears to have become the first customer to sign a firm contract to do so.
In March 2022, an executive of mobile-friendly internet constellation startup AST SpaceMobile told SpaceNews that it had secured two launch contracts from SpaceX for its first operational BlueBird satellites, but had only firmly selected Falcon 9 for one.

SpaceX already has plans to use Starship to launch much larger Starlink Gen2 satellites, and it has a contract with NASA that should culminate in at least two Starship Moon landings that will require dozens of launches to Earth orbit.
According to an official payload user’s guide released in 2020, SpaceX anticipates that Starship will be able to launch up to 21 tons (~46,000 lb) to geostationary transfer orbit (GTO) without refueling. The rocket’s design has changed considerably since then, boosting its maximum performance to low Earth orbit (LEO) from about 100 tons (~220,000 lb) to 150 tons (~330,000 lb), so Starship’s theoretical performance to GTO may have also improved.
Sky Perfect JSAT did not reveal the expected mass of its new satellite, but other planned satellites using the Airbus OneSat bus Superbird-9 will be built around are expected to way about 3 tons (~6600 lb).

Inside The SpaceX Starship 2.0 And What Will Need To Be In Mars
The starship will take off and land on Mars, and nothing will stop it. SpaceX has launched another denomination of the starship, nicknamed ship 2.0. This type looks sleek and luxurious, something you can say fits in the 21st-century style of modern technology.
You are free to call it a smart starship where everything will be computerized, and you won't be wrong – everything about it looks clean, exquisite, and with a seductive touch of luxury.
Spacex understands that if people want to be interested in traveling in the starship for at least seven months, they have to make it look as luxurious as possible so that once people set their eyes on the shiny look of the starship, they'll be charmed by its luxury.
